I have been a caregiver, both, children and senior citizens since 2012. Most of my positions have lasted from three to seven years with the same person. What inspired me to become a caregiver? Losing my mother to Alzheimer's in 2011. I cared for her in every way possible as I was still working full time as a legal assistant with the Federal Probation Office and raising our three sons who were in school full time as well.
