About Fionnuala

Hi! My name is Fionnuala and I'm a sophomore Honors Program UCSC student studying astrophysics! My cumulative GPA is a 3. 8 unweighted, and my cumulative high school GPA was a 4. 6 weighted. I am confident with tutoring grades Pre-K through 8th in math, sciences, and language arts. I was Waldorf homeschooled most of my K-12 years, and I first grew to love teaching/tutoring by helping my mom homeschool my five younger siblings. I continued to grow as an educator through my position as paraeducator and after school care teacher at a private JK-8 school. My homeschool education helped me to understand how vital a personalized learning experience is to a student's academic success, and my professional experience has given me the skills to help students find that success!
