About Fiona

I volunteered in High School for a year, working with pre-K children with learning disabilities and special needs. I loved working in the classroom and became very attached to the children. I babysat, on an average of two days a week, for twin toddler boys. They required a lot of energy and constant interaction. I became attached to the family, babysitting them whenever I went home. I also tutored a 6th-grade student in math twice a week. I graduated from the University of Dubuque two years ago with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. I am currently working as a lead 3-year-old teacher at a daycare in Dubuque. In the fall, I will begin my first teaching position as a preschool teacher at my current daycare. Creating fun activities and being around children is my passion!
