About Fintan

Hello! My name is Finn (he/him/his) and I am from Scarborough, Maine. I am 19 years old and currently attend the University of Pittsburgh to study Industrial Engineering. I babysat throughout my teenage years and worked a summer at Camp Ketcha as a counselor. I love working with kids and sharing fun experiences. I am enthused to teach but also love to learn from kids. As someone who grew up with many different babysitters, nannies, and camp counselors, I understand what it takes to be an effective an enjoyable caretaker and role model. I love to spend my free time outside; I ski, surf, play golf, basketball, spikeball, hiking, boogieboarding, biking, and enjoy many other activities. I also love to listen to music, watch movies/TV, go to the gym, and cook/bake. I am working at Texas Instruments as a Manufacturing Specialist this summer on Sunday through Wednesday, but am free on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. I have a car and am happy to transport/travel as needed.
