About Findlay

Hello! I'm Findlay. I'm 21 and from California now living in Brooklyn. I moved to New York to study but am taking a year off to consider a new degree. In California I taught guitar to middle school aged kids in the past-I loved being able to pass down that knowledge and passion. In high school I also worked tutoring grade school kids, also working summers at an outdoor camp-this taught me the importance of teaching with kindness and patience. Before my year off I studied fine art at the new school and have been painting and drawing my whole life. I find doing art with kids fulfilling as well as inspiring-I love their excitement and unaltered outlook. I'm responsible, punctual, and hard working. I grew up with working parents-I understand the kind of support that families need. Since I'm not in school right now, my schedule is flexible and I'm available to start work immediately.
