About Filomena

Hello, thank you for taking the time out to read a little about me. My name is Filomena and I live in Howell. I am a mom to a 9-year-old little girl who thinks she is 35! I was born and raised in Staten Island, N. Y. and am American/Italian and am fluent in the language as well. I have approximately three years experience with senior care. A church I previously attended facilitated a group of volunteers who would visit the elderly in a nursing home. I found it to be very rewarding. We would keep them company by doing activities or just having simple heart to heart conversations. We would even have Christmas shows, which the seniors enjoyed. Our primary goal was to ensure they were happy and taken care of. I also have some hospice care. Unfortunately, my mother passed away and was put on hospice care. Although a nurse would come, I was still the primary caretaker. I can assure you that your loved one would be taken care of as if they were my own loved one. God bless.
