About Fernanda

I have experience working with children in many different environments. I have worked for a Montessori preschool. I also have worked in a child care center where I cared for children between the ages of 6 months old and 5 years old. My favorite part of working with children is teaching them new things and seeing them improve their cognitive and physical skills. Being active with children us one of my favorite things to do. I enjoyed taking the kids out to play or on walks. I was also responsible for preparing meals for the kids along with feeding the baby's while the older children ate at the lunch table. I know how to make formula bottles and can change diapers fairly easily. I am PCA certified which means I am able to care for children with emotional or physical disabilities. I know how to handle medications and treat side effects when they occur.
