Grace is kind and tries her best; however she was not a good fit for our family. She may be okay with older children but we had her watch our 15 month old and she was unable to follow simple and straightforward instructions. Oftentimes we would have to remind her to put him down for naptime well over an hour after his normal schedule. We had her full time for 3 months where we tried our best to give her multiple chances to work things out but she broke our trust several times. She gave our baby his first haircut without bothering to ask (we chalk this up to generational differences and reiterated not to do anything we did not ask her to do) but she would repeat behavior and go as far as feeding our dog full cups of food after explicitly telling her not to feed our dog (or kids) random stuff that she was either bringing or finding in our pantry. Grace would only admit to these things when she was caught red handed. This happened repeatedly and was ultimately the reason we ended the relationship. Beyond the lack of trust, Grace did not make us feel comfortable leaving our kids in her hands for naptime. She never "clicked" (read: does not know how to tell when a kid is hungry, tired, or needs to poop) and almost always did the opposite of what we asked. It was incredibly frustrating and set us back some time training our kid. Grace was late 5-10 minutes every day, on occasion later (with no explanations). Her housework skills are below average-- slow and we would often have to rewash things including milk bottles etc. Also took her 15-20 mins to change a diaper which would make any child scream. Don't recommend for little ones, she could be fine for older kids who just need basic supervision. Perhaps she might be a fit for your family, but she was not a fit for us.
