About Felicia

Hi! I am 40 years old and I Started my career at 16 with disabled children. I got certified for first aid and CPR in high school. I was a child of the state and grew up in foster homes until I was 16 and then I emancipated myself. I've been on my own ever since. I have always had higher standards because of the way I grew up and always wanted better for myself, and my three children. I studied at greenfield community college at 22 years old, received my CNA (certified nursing assistant) and HHA (Home health aide) through the Red Cross. I have experience in residential nursing home, rehab facilities, hospitals, in home care, and assisted living. Most of my experience is with dementia, Alzheimer's, I am a 2x cancer survivor (NED 11 years) and have had 7 surgeries myself, so I have personal experience with health problems and having to navigate through life with it all. Felicia has been the absolute best caregiver for my parents. My mother has dementia and is not comfortable with most people. She took to Felicia right away and even asks where she is on the days she does not come to the house. Felicia knows what my parents need without them even asking. She is respectful of the independence they have left, and one of the most caring people we have met. I would highly recommend Felicia for any family in need of some assistance.
