She would get 10stars but for the fact that she quit without any notice, knowing we were out of the country and would not be back for several weeks. She said she was moving back home to get married, this had obviously been planned for quite some time as she had gone home to visit 2 months before she quit. She also said she would have her friend, who previously filled in for her, take over. When I reached out to her friend, the friend knew nothing about it. She also accepted a holiday bonus equal to a week’s pay (this was a “surprise” and not part of her employment agreement) the day before she walked out! The reason she is getting 4 stars is because she did a very good job, had attention to detail, is very trustworthy in terms of keeping our home and belongings safe/secure. She is fairly reliable, although had a lot of family issues where she was frequently needing to rearrange her schedule, or take a day off. But for the fact that she quit without notice, and left us high and dry while we were out of the country, I would rehire her.
