I am the mom to a 2-year-old boy. We have been enjoying learning sign language and my boy has mastered 18 signs. I am looking to nanny for a family that values a peaceful, nurturing nanny with a background in Psychology and Counseling. I have a Bachelors from UT Austin in Psychology and my Masters is in Counseling from Grand Canyon University. I spent several years as a nanny before and during my school programs. When I was a nanny I specialized in working with children who had a variety of special needs including being diagnosed as on the Autism Spectrum. I was introduced to ABA therapy, speech modification devices and different behavioral techniques. My joy comes from helping a family thrive and partnering with the family and therapists involved to create the best home care environment for the child.
