I'm an experienced educator and caregiver. I have several years of experience in Child Development Centers as a lead teacher. I was a Para-professional in elementary school for medically fragile students. I have been a 1:1 support for children with Down Syndrome as well as a long-term substitute teacher in the Special Education resource classroom. I have had experience as personal support for high school students with a range of diagnoses, as well as an education coordinator for a meaningful day program for adults with disabilities. I am familiar with a variety of special needs, but I understand that each individual is unique and needs specific support to follow a plan and reach their goals.
