About Faith

Hi! My name is Faith I am a mother of 3 grown boys, and grandmother to a special baby with Down Syndrome. I love showing families how to learn through play, especially using music and movement. I am patient and kind, but I enjoy being energetic and silly. I cherish the chance to enable others to build their independence and nurture their growth. My experience is very diverse, working with individuals with a range of abilities. I have been working with children since my first job as a camp counselor. I am looking for the opportunity to build a trusting relationship with a family and share my knowledge, experience, and love for families. I have my BA in Child and Family Development. I have been a lead teacher in classrooms for infants-preschool on military installations, a home visitor for Head Start, teacher's aide in special education, education coordinator and employment specialist for individuals with disabilities. I am new to Castroville and looking for a new start.
