About Faith

Faith worked with our family for 4 months, helping care for our five children (ages 10 mnths, 3yrs, 10yrs, 10yrs and 12yrs old). She brought a kind, warm, and upbeat energy to the home, and the kids grew attached to her quickly. She’s naturally fun-loving and protective, especially with the little ones, and she has joined us at times for family events where she was incredibly helpful and attentive. One of the major responsibilities Faith handled was transportation. She regularly picked my children up from school and daycare and brought them home, and at times she even transported them to and from church events. This was a big task and we appreciated her stepping into that role. One of her strengths is her eagerness to help, she often pitched in by tidying up, encouraging the kids to clean up after themselves, and stepping in when needed. She also supported our older girls with homework and kept us well-informed with daily updates, which we really appreciated. Communication was something she did very well. As with any caregiver, there were areas we had to work through. Timing and scheduling adjustments came up early on, and while there were some late pickups, she was receptive to feedback and worked to improve. We had a few moments of miscommunication around shift boundaries and expectations, but she responded better once things were clarified. Meal preparation was a challenge, as cooking isn’t her strong suit, and she preferred not to prepare meals independently. She’s more go-with-the-flow than structured in her approach to planning activities, which may work well for families with a more relaxed routine. All in all, Faith has a big heart, is great with kids, and has the potential to grow even more with the right fit. We’re grateful for her time with our family and wish her the very best moving forward.
