I have Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, 12 units in Child Development, I am certified in Brazil as a Teacher of foreigner language for children in school age. I am also a Certified Positive Discipline Educator, Newborn Care Specialist, Sleep Training, CPR and First Aid. Children are definitely one of my many passions. I am knowledgeable about their ages and stages and I believe children learn best when they are on a safe, loving and genuine environment. I am a nurturing, trustworthy and communicative person. I lived in San Francisco since 2006 , but moved to SoCal by the end of 2021. I'm looking for a PT position in the mornings (M-F). I am also available for occasional babysitting Nights/weekends. Fabi is an amazing caregiver and we feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with her. She cared for our daughter from 2 weeks to 3 months. She is clearly very experienced working with newborns and in addition to basic care (feeding, baths, changing, etc.), she made a real effort to help focus on developmental activities (reading, tummy time, singing, etc.). Fabi also has a lot of formal education on working with newborns and was able to help advise us on how to best manage feeding, sleep, indigestion issues, etc. The only reason we ended our engagement was because she was relocating to San Diego. We would leap at the chance to work with her again. She's also a huge dog lover and our puppy fell in love with her too!
