Hello! I have worked (on and off) as a companion/caregiver for seniors for 20 years now. I am certified as a Direct Support Professional, Shared Living Provider, and am CPR/1st aid certified. In addition, I was trained as a CNA trained and have community case management experience. I am able to provide companionship, emotional support, activities, a steady hand and support while walking, rising and dressing, driving, medication, prompts, light, housekeeping, and cooking, and can lend support with needs assessments and connecting to medical and community resources. I have experience with Parkinson's, strokes, beginning dementia, Down Syndrome, and intellectual disabilities. I bring a kind and gentle spirit to my work and look forward to supporting your family!
