I believe that my passion for caregiving started when my own mother became ill with cancer and I personally saw how demanding, but rewarding, working with elderly or sick people is. I am extremely nurturing and successfully raised three children who are independent and successful adults. I understand how hard it is to find trust and feel comfortable in leaving your loved ones with someone that you don't know. I have many different references, both job related and personal. I just recently ended a five month position taking care of a cancer patient that involved housekeeping, laundry, shopping, cooking and preparing meals, bathing, lifting and total end care responsibilities. Unfortunately, this position finished with her recent passing. I have now helped in getting the house organized and ready for garage sale as organizing is something I am very good at. Prior to this, for roughly two years I spent taking care of a woman with terminal brain cancer. I did everything from taking her to treatments and doctor's appointments, medication control, fun activities, cleaning, cooking and baking, dressing, bathing and end care services including diapering, bathing, transporting in wheelchair or hoyer lift. I became close with the family and helped with emotional support both during and after her death. I stayed on and helped the husband deal with organizing the house and dealing with the many insurance claims. I have years of experience in medical billing and can negotiate with most insurance carriers. I find that patience and compassion are my best qualities and am very energetic and love life. I would do the very best in helping you and your family member and am not afraid of work. I do housecleaning, laundry, pet sitting and walking and love to cook (and I am good at it). I like to eat healthy and love to try new things.

I am writing to express my deep appreciation for Evelyn (Evie), who served as my father's caregiver from August 2020 until his passing in November 2023. The level of care and dedication Evie provided is beyond words. She consistently exceeded expectations in attending to my father’s needs with remarkable commitment and compassion. Evie's communication skills were exceptional, ensuring that I was always updated about my father's health status. She not only fulfilled her duties with excellence but also anticipated and addressed my father’s health requirements. She advocated for him at the doctor’s office, and even scheduled extra specialists when my father wasn’t feeling well. More than a caregiver, Evie was a true companion and friend to my father, bringing light and joy to the final years of his life. I am eternally grateful for Evie's significant contribution to our family and wholeheartedly recommend her for any caregiving role. Mike
