About Evelyn

I worked with people with disabilities around 2 years like autism, slow Learning, schizophrenia among other things most of the people were leaving high school and adults under 60 years old, I worked a part where we taught them to become independent like taking the bus together, doing recreational activities, shopping, cleaning at home, cooking, doing paperwork like getting an ID or things like that, I loved that job, but then they offered me another job, as a Caregiver in an agency and flexible schedule opportunity where I currently work, the job is good they send me to different memorial care, facilites or homes, my job is to help people according to what they need, bathing, food preparation, light cleaning, remembering to take medications, and other things most of the residents have dementia and Alzheimer's so I know how to deal with them, I am also patient and I enjoy doing my job, I understand that sometimes family members need a break or a person to help them.
