Hello Parents and Families, I am Evelyn! I've been using Care. com for about 9 months. Besides giving me a wonderful opportunity to be around kids and babies, it's been a perfect way to get to know more people in my local community. I grew up in the Sacramento area, but am currently attending college on the East Coast. I have 5 years of paid experience in childcare, mainly 3 months to 9yrs. I have a less experience with 10+, although by no means averse to it. I don't love movies and TV, so for the most part entertain kids with books, play, going on walks, conversations, etc. I am comfortable with nap times, meals, some house keeping/tidying, and baths. Some of my favorite hobbies are weight lifting, hiking or trail-running, and baking cookies. I look forward to getting to know more families and helping you in any way I can!
