I took care of a 95-year-old Lady for about 2 yrs, I travelled to her home from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. it was a steady rotation. She had dementia so she didn't remember a lot. her memory was spotty. she was very nice some days then really non compliant other days. I gave her meds cooked her meals and gave snacks depending on the time I was there. I got her dressed helped her brush her teeth and wash her face and go down stairs to the TV room which is where she loved to go. And I would just spend time with her. I took my daughter with me some days cause she loved little kids it made her day and made a big difference and her outlook on that day.
