Hello My name is Evelyn, I have 9 yrs of experience in teaching children from ages 1 month to 14 yr olds. I have studied Early Child Development at Las Positas College and I have received certificate of achievement. I completed my mentorship at Valley Montessori School in Livermore. I had the opportunity to work for various preschools, I have been able to adapt to various curriculum, philosophies that each school had in place. At my previous job I worked as a Site Supervisor for 2 years in San Ramon. Currently I substitute at an infant center. I take great joy in working with children of various age groups. I enjoy keeping children engaged in activities, I am also a huge advocate for sensory learning. I had changed careers for about 1 1/2 yr and worked in managing an office, but my passion to continue to work with children and to see their developmental skills is grand. I had the privilege to work side side with Evelyn as my fellow team teacher and Preschool site supervisor. Evelyn possesses great leadership and communication skills. She is responsible and reliable. Her warmth, kindness, experience, and passion for working with children made our day at work easy and fun. The Children in our center loved, Teacher Evelyn! She is an exceptional person and I highly recommend her for any position as a nanny, caregiver or teacher at a Children's Center.
