Eveling (Miss Ev-ee to our kiddos), was an incredible and all-too-temporary addition to our family unit. We were new to the whole concept of having in-home childcare and we're pretty stressed out about the whole thing. We had a kindergartner learning how to go to school online and a 6 month old learning how to sit up. And we both had hours of video meetings all day. Eveling came over for a trial day and it was a no brainer, after seeing her warm instant rapport with the kiddos, to ask her to come every day. She read to them, played games, helped our oldest with complicated online class word, mentored us in introducing solids to the little one (we'd admittedly waited too long with the older one), and kept our house in order. We really didn't know what we meant by "light housekeeping" because we'd never really done all of this. Eveling left each day having made l our house cleaner and our children happier. Eveling made such an improvement to our lives during a difficult and uncertain time and we cannot recommend her enough.
