About Eva

I have loved working with kids since I was a kid myself! I grew up as the oldest daughter of four, so I stepped into the caretaker role early on in life. When I got older and started working with kids as my job, I realized how much I could learn from them, too, and although I was a swim teacher, I loved teaching skills like empathy and discipline. I am a full time Education student, so I am looking for a job that will keep me engaged with kids. I am hoping to find something walkable from SHU's campus with kids who are ready to use their brain muscles! I am not the sort of babysitter who keeps the kids glued to the TV the whole time, so I hope they're ready for puzzles and games! I started babysitting when I was 10 years old (mostly just for my siblings/neighbors), and got First Aid certified when I was 13 to open up more babysitting opportunities. Two years later, I got my lifeguard cert and have worked as a lifeguard and swim instructor at a few different pools ever since!
