Working with kids is super fun because they have such a fresh perspective on the world! Their creativity and energy can make even the simplest activities feel exciting. Plus, their laughter and curiosity are contagious! I started working with kids I use to work at sports in a program meant for child development! I would work with kids as young as 6 months-12 years old! I'm a clear communicator and it's very crucial to establish open and honest communication channels between caregivers and families to ensure everyone is on the same page refute child's needs, routines and any concerns that may arise. Working with children, requires a lot of patience, as children may need time to learn and adapt. Engaging with kids often involves coming up with fun and educational activities that captures interest and help them learn! Another thing that is also very important is to be an active listener, emphasizing, have positive reinforcement and consistency/routine!
