About Evangeline

Hi! I'm a recent UCLA graduate looking for part-time work as a childcare provider in addition to my job at the Hawaii State Senate. Prior to grad school, I worked in K-12 education for 5 years as a 1:1 Skills Trainer for students with special needs and then as a full-time Elementary Substitute Teacher. I also have experience tutoring older kids and have worked as a Teaching Assistant for undergraduate students at UCLA. In addition to childcare and tutoring, I also have experience providing senior care. I was paid by the state to provide end-of-life care for my grandmother for one year before she passed, who was bedridden and experiencing dementia. I've always loved working with children and have been doing so since high school. Helping children will always be my biggest passion and is what motivates me in my career in government.
