About Evangelina

My name is Evangelina and I have come a long way from that little town in southern Mexico were I was born. I come from a large family of 10 siblings and I was the second youngest. I was encouraged by one of my older brothers to come to America and live out the American dream. I left everything behind and came to seek a better future. Once I got here I immediately started seeking jobs and was able to get my first job as a nanny with a very loving family of four wonderful children. I learned to love them not just as the kids I cared for but almost as family. To them I was not just the nanny but they would call me their "Big Sister." Unfortunately due to personal problems in the family I had to leave them behind and move on seeking other opportunities and I moved from LA County to the OC. I tried to work as a cashier at a restaurant but due to my fun loving attitude I felt that was not the job for me so I went back to seeking jobs as a nanny. My last job was with a cute family of just 3 with one baby girl. I went in and cared for their adorable 1-month-old daughter until the age of 2. Now I am working as an on call babysitter during the summer for a family. I would like to work with a family for a long period of time and be able to get to know them on more personal levels and that my efforts of trying to help raise someones child is being appreciated. I am still on the lookout for that family and hopefully through Care. com I will be able to find them soon.
