About Eva

Hi, my name is Eva! I am a recent college graduate and an aspiring elementary school teacher. I have been lucky to work in a diverse range of childcare positions (babysitter, academic tutor, teaching assistant, and camp counselor), all of which have been tremendously impactful. As an English language teaching assistant, I designed activities to facilitate language acquisition. It was a true joy to connect with all the different learning styles and to witness how students became more confident in their abilities over time. At a farm camp, I took care of a cohort of eight 8-12-year-olds. I prepared meals, cleaned the cabins, supervised swimming sessions and trips, and helped conduct lessons about ecology and sustainability. Most importantly, I was attentive to each campers' personality and needs. I bring a playful approach imbued with joy and sensitivity to teaching and to childcare. I love arts and crafts, speaking Italian, writing, dancing, and gardening. Hope to meet you soon!
