My journey in child care began with babysitting and nannying, expanded through an assistant teacher role at a preschool, and further developed in a substitute teaching position at Episcopal Day School. Eva was with our family from the time our baby was 3 months old until we moved out of state when she was 16 months old. Eva is highly reliable, very sweet, and attentive to our daughter and our daughter's face would light up when she saw Eva. Eva didn't take much time off, but always lets us know way in advance when she would be on vacation. I can be a bit of a micromanager and Eva was very patient with me and always did what we asked without question (i.e., working on certain skills, adhering to a daily schedule). She always offered to help out around the house during nap time and was quick to do all of the dishes (although never asked of her), our daughter's laundry and clean her play area. Whenever we asked her to watch a video or read an article, she would gladly do it and then implement whatever it was into helping our daughter master new skills. We are sad we had to part ways and wish we could have taken her with us!
