Hi, my name is Eva. I live in Petaluma. I am CPR, First Aid Certified, CNA/HHA (Certified Nurse Assistant/Home Health Aide) as well. I have a CDL and a good driving record. I have 10 years+ of experience taking care of infants, toddlers, children and twins. I had been helping families in their private home in Sonoma and Marin County. Also I have experience with children with special needs. I am very honest, patient, trustworthy, responsible, positive attitude, loving and fun. I love working with active and curious children. I love to be creative with them, keep them active all day and can adjust activities to make them age appropriate. I don't encourage TV. I am very respectful of parents rules and routines for a positive discipline. What I enjoy doing with children: arts, crafts, coloring, puzzles, games, doing things with them that are fun and stimulating. I like to take them to the park and walks. Also, I like trips to the library for a story time. I am willing to help with meal preparation (I took a Food and Nutrition Semester), laundry and light housekeeping. I am willing to travel. Eva worked for us over the summer in Sonoma taking care of our twin toddlers. I've had several caregivers over the past two years, and Eva stands out as simply the best. She speaks excellent English AND excellent Spanish which we loved as we're trying to raise our children in a bilingual environment. She is a natural teacher, always finding ways to teach something while doing everyday things (let's count the steps as we go upstairs). She is a competent driver and has her own dependable transportation. She is very neat and clean and organized. She is great at keeping up with laundry and grocery shopping. For us, we really liked that she emulated our exact parenting style. She's very smart about getting the kids to do what you want (like eat), and very good about telling us (the parents) to leave her alone so she can do her job. She was always on time, and she always welcomed extra hours, sometimes working 7 a.m. to 7p.m. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Greg
