About Eva

Hi, I'm Eva! I'm a recent graduate from Dartmouth College and just moved to DC. I started tutoring in high school. I worked at a tutoring center for elementary and middle schoolers, often working closely with students with dyslexia and ADD. I also managed my high school's Tutoring Program. I learned quickly that tutoring is a two way street: in every opportunity I've had to tutor, I've come away knowing we've both learned so much. It's deeply rewarding to see other people learn--and to learn from their perspective. My skills include: making work engaging through fun projects; creatively explaining explain tricky concepts; and approaching every scenario with a smile. Finally, I believe learning starts with care. I grew up helping my younger sisters with their homework, and I'm passionate about connecting schoolwork with wholistic learning. I would be eager to work with you to make sure I provide the best support possible for what your kid needs.
