I'd describe my personality as attentive and dedicated. I like caring for seniors because helping elderly to feel valued and overcome challenges they face every day gives me sense of fulfillment. I'm looking for a job that is based on mutual respect and understanding of common goal of making elderly feel safe and happy. I started caring for seniors 16 years ago. In my spare time, I like gardening, nature walks, and cooking. One thing you should know about me is that I have experience as an ICU nurse. My skills include : bathing and hygiene assistance, understanding special diets and preparing nutritious meals, helping with household tasks, monitoring vital signs and recognizing symptoms of illness or changes in condition, assisting with mobility aids like wheelchairs and walkers, operating Hoyer lifts, providing basic wound care and dressing changes, administering medications, infection prevention and control, assisting with errands and transportation to appointments.
