I was part of an organization ; an education based program that promotes acceptance, inclusion and respect between students with and without disabilities. Also obtained all 120 hrs for my (DSG) Designated service Graduate volunteer hours all in different special education programs at multiple locations. I was exposed to my love for special education in the 6th grade, my favorite coach was the Special Ed. teacher and mentored me throughout high school. Then I decided to become an SLP due to my beautiful baby cousin being born in 2017 who has Alveolar Hypo-ventilation Syndrome and is Non-verbal. I've learned that Patience and perseverance can make anything happen ! I have worked with many different emotional, Physical and cognitive disabilities and heavily experienced with kids on the spectrum.
