Esther has worked for our family as a caregiver to my now 26 year old severely autistic son. Esther has been an absolute godsend for us and especially T. He requires total care and 24 hour supervision as well as being non verbal. She began working for us while T. was in school at the age of 19. When we first met Esther, T. was obese weighing approximately 215 lbs with appropriate diet, portion control and exercise daily, within a period of a year he had lost 60 lbs. He has since maintained his weight. Esther has always been prompt, dependable when it comes to her job, to my recollection, she has not missed any work, and at times would be available to go the extra mile to keep T. on weekends if needed to go out of town. She would take T. to MD appointments, school or run errands as needed. She has become more than an employee, she is a part of our family. Unfortunately, due to circumstances this past summer, T. had to be hospitalized and has been transferred to an ICF
