I am a special education teacher professionally, with a master's in special education (moderate to severe disabilities K-12) and a home-based behavior therapist. I have committed my professional life in working with children and teens with special needs, no matter how minor or severe the disability is. I take tremendous joy helping the children I work with reach their goals. When I was in college, I ran a special education swim class, coached and helped facilitate the Special Olympics, and helped run a chapter of a recreation program. I took my passion for working with people who have special needs, and turned it into my professional career.
