About Essence

As a parent to a 12-year-old, I understand the challenges and demands of childcare. My patient and friendly demeanor allows me to connect easily with children, putting them at ease in my care. With two years of experience caring for children, I'm comfortable looking after up to two children of any age. My skills include CPR and First Aid training. I believe in open communication with parents, providing written daily reports and using their preferred method of communication to discuss their child's day or any concerns that arise. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules to ensure a safe and structured environment for the children in my care. From outdoor sports to board games and technology-based games, I enjoy a variety of activities and can adapt to the interests of the children I care for. I also have a car, am comfortable with pets, and am willing to assist with cooking, light housekeeping, travel, and crafts.
