About Essence

Hi! I'm Essence, a marketing management student at Baruch College. I enjoy running, watching movies, and baking in my free time! At 13, I became a big sister and began working with children. This experience has instilled in me the invaluable qualities of empathy, patience, and leadership. Caring for my younger sister, who had craniosynostosis, taught me responsibility and the importance of providing attentive care. Balancing my own needs with my sister's helped me develop essential life skills. I'm certified in CPR/First Aid, having trained and worked as a CNA during my junior and senior years in high school. Watching my sister grow highlighted the importance of learning through play with stimulating games and fun crafts. I'll always show up prepared with fun activities to engage the kids.
