About Erin

As an educator for over 10 years, I have learned that the learning process has many different components to it and how each child gets there can be significantly different. Having my master's in education and teaching students with disabilities grades B-6 has been such a gift. I am an energetic, hardworking, patient and loving person. As an educator, I believe that an effective, meaningful, goal-oriented learning experience all stems from a positive relationship with the student. First and foremost, my students will establish a safe, strong, trusting bond with me that will communicate an eagerness to do what is best to meet their academic, social and emotional needs. I believe in creating strong home-school partnerships with families and involving parents any chance I get. I believe in implementing different strategies such as cooperative learning, inquiry-based learning and differentiation. I am looking forward to hearing from you soon!
