I started working with kids when I was about 13 years old - babysitting. I taught middle school choir for 9 years. I currently watch kiddos out of my house as I am completing my masters in music therapy! In my spare time, I like to play music: piano, guitar, percussion and singing! One thing you should know about me is I have my own two kiddos - a 9 and 7-year-old. I have them half of the time. During the time they are with me, I accept kiddos into our home. When they are with their Dad, I am free and completely willing to come to you! My skills include working with kiddos of any background, and am very comfortable working with kiddos with special needs. I believe in gentle parenting with well- known and established rules/boundaries. I believe in mutual respect and a restorative justice approach to correcting behaviors.
