About Erin

My name is Erin and I have over a decade of experience in working with all ages of children (infants all the way to teenagers) in a variety of capacities. I've worn the hat of a babysitter, nanny, swim coach, camp counselor, camp activities director, English teacher in France, French teacher in New Orleans, and preschool teacher. I'm passionate about child-directed learning, place based learning and environmental and outdoor education in particular. A bit about me: I graduated from LSU with degrees in French and International Studies. I worked as a teacher for several years and eventually decided to pursue a master's degree in environmental studies with an emphasis on environmental education. After grad school, I decided to pursue medicine and am currently a 3rd year medical student at the UW with hopes of becoming a pediatrician. I'm ideally looking for weekend/date night babysitting jobs. I also typically have time off around holidays and have more availability.
