About Erin

My college-age kids describe me as 'such a mom' in that my favorite hobbies are crafts, baking and family-night board games. I wind down with music (including a little piano playing), reading or a movie. I like working with kids because it's just so much fun to watch them try new things, or see what interests them and hear them talk about it. I'm looking for a job that is on an as needed basis rather than a regular commitment as extra income outside of my full time career. One thing you should know about me is I'm a calm but goofy kind of person when I'm interacting with kids. I've got experience with all ages. I can do overnights or travel with families if needed. My skills include entertaining, cooking, bathing/bedtime routines. I'm comfortable managing allergies, medications or other health needs. I use sound judgment and experience in decision making, prioritize safety, and approach interactions with calm clear communication, patience and respect.
