About Erin

I'm a mother of 3 adult children, and grandmother of 2 little ones. I worked in the school system when my own kids were in attendance from elementary age through their high school years. I've done one on one tutoring as a title one para, as well as instructing and teaching in the special education department as a paraprofessional for a program that although not intended to be was mostly autistic children. I have experience working/tutoring children who are ready willing and able to pay full attention and those who may require a bit more redirection. We are all different, and learning looks different to each of us. What seems easy for one person can be difficult for others sometimes someone is a visual learner, sometimes an auditory learner, and sometimes someone just needs to use manipulatives ( hands on) these are all things that effect how we learn. I would love to help you/your child by tutoring in the area needed.
