As far as my experience. I have been babysitting since I was 13 years old. Starting out watching kids while parents were at home doing chores or working. When I was 17 I started working for a recreation program which included after school programs and summer camps. That job brought multiple babysitting opportunities over the following few years. When I was 20 I started to nanny for a family of three young boys aged 5, 7 and 9 at the time and watched them at minimum of once a week for over 5 years through college. After college I started working full time but still babysit from time to time. In the last few years I've had new experience with newborns and young children as family & friends started having kids. I moved to NC last year and love here! I work west coast hours so have some availability in the mornings and late afternoon M-F but am searching for some weekend opportunities.
