I've been a full time nanny for the last 17 years. I've been with my current family for 10 years, but the girls are now growing up and they don't need me anymore. I love working with kids and seeing the world through their eyes. They teach you to slow down and take in everything around you. I enjoy being outside, doing arts and crafts, baking and cooking, and any other activity the kids are into. I like to give them the freedom to explore to do things on their own to help build confidence and independence. Even if that means there's a decent mess for me to clean when they are finished.
