About Erin

I am currently looking for a part-time (possibly full-time) nanny position. I recently moved to Nevada City after graduating from UCSB this spring with a BA in Anthropology. While living in Santa Barbara, I was a part-time nanny of 2 kids for roughly 2 years. It was lovely to become a part of the family and earn the children's trust, as they were very shy when I first started working with the family. My mom is a preschool teacher who I would help out during the summers when I was younger in her classroom and with playground time. I have worked with extremely high energy kids, kids with some behavioral issues, as well as kids who have trouble sleeping in their own beds. Many of the families I have worked with have dogs or cats, which I very much enjoy. In addition to taking care of children at their homes, I have helped with picking up kids from school, facilitating play dates, baths, cooking, and bed time.
