My first year out of college I worked as a teacher's aide in a behavioral disorder classroom. It was here that I really gained a passion for working with special needs children. In my most recent job, I worked with a little girl who has a mental disability. She was in need of full-time attention. I helped with bath, meals, and administering medication. She was a joy to be with and it only furthered my love for working with children with special needs.
