About Erin

Hello! I am Ms. B., and the "B" doesn't stand for Ms. Broccoli like some kids think! My name is Erin B although I usually just go by Ms. B. I have had this title in the classroom for years and my passion for working with / caring for children began well before I stepped into a classroom. Growing up, playing school was my favorite activity. Teaching runs in my family and I have had the knack for it since I was 5 years old. Since teaching my younger family members to read my love for schooling and children had grown into unpaid internships and eventually it has propelled any life decision I've made. I currently teach the world's future engineers, teachers, scientists, artists (or anything else!) at a charter school Uptown in the Bronx, but I am still a student myself. I am a student at Fordham University working to obtain my Master of Science in Teaching -dual General and Special Education grades 1-6. Aside from academics, I coach a couple sports and creativity as well!
