About Erika

I was a personal nanny on a part-time basis (non live-in) for a family in Scottsdale, AZ. I cared for two girls, ages 6 months and 3 years. The responsibilities included child care, along with providing meals and light housework. I have been babysitting since I was 13 years old. I now work as a tutor, seasonally for the last 4 summers and winter vacation. I have also worked at a daycare in Flagstaff, Arizona while going to school for the past 3 years. There I cared for children ages birth through 4 years. I spent a semester student teaching where I ran a homework club after school with my mentor teacher. I spent 4 semesters volunteering doing classroom observations/practicum hours. Also assisted students with lessons, homework, etc. I'm great with children because I have a strong sense of responsibility along with peppy energy, bubbly personality, and compassion.
