About Erika

I'm passionate about nurturing and caring for children, drawing from my years of experience as a babysitter. My desire to support families and positively impact children's lives led me to become a childcare provider. I'm originally from Colombia. I was au pair with the same family for 3 years, taking care of 4 children in different ages and also one with Down syndrome. As a patient and friendly individual, I prioritize open communication with parents, providing regular updates and using their preferred methods of contact. When it comes to household rules, I believe in following the parents' lead to ensure consistency for the child. With a graduate degree and training in early child development, I bring knowledge and expertise to my role. I also have taken coursework in Early Child Development. Whether it's playing board games, engaging in educational games, or exploring technology-based games and apps, outdoor games, I enjoy a variety of activities that promote learning and fun.
