I have 7 years experience as a caregiver and job coach for those who are developmentally disabled. I also helped assist 2 adoptive families with 5 kids each (2-8 age range) who all had special needs and babysat for many other families. I have extensive experience and knowledge on individuals with developmental disabilities - specifically Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and other special needs like Bipolar disorder, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, etc. I was in charge of assisting with hygiene, cooking and assisting with feeding, cleaning, passing medications, grocery shopping, assisting with doctors appointments, creating activities and outings that are positive and enriching, and assisting with other needs required by the individuals and households. I am a photographer and artist so I am very creative as well. I am also very active, a hard worker, and always willing to learn more! I am currently taking online classes for my Psychology degree as well.
