My first experience with special needs children was in High school, as a Teacher Cadet. From then on, I knew that special needs was my calling. I have worked at a summer camp and afterschool care with children of many different abilities, and I am currently a nanny for a child with epilepsy. I know that I am just starting out in this field, but I am eager to learn more and gain as much experience as I can before teaching these precious little minds.
